Health Incremental, by Snaps Studio AB · Effective 2026-11-01
Health Incremental is a small pixel-art game that turns your everyday movement, recovery and mindful moments into points. To do that it reads data from Apple Health — personal health information — so we built the app to be private by design: your health data and game progress stay on your device, and the game works without an account. This policy explains what we collect, when, and why — in plain language.
With your permission, the app reads data from Apple Health to calculate game points. Access is read-only — the app never writes to Apple Health. Depending on what you allow, this can include:
Health data is processed entirely on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers or anyone else's, never shared with advertisers or data brokers, and never included in analytics or crash reports. You choose which categories to share and can change that at any time in the Health app or in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
Your points, levels, upgrades, character and settings are saved in the app's private storage on your device. There is no account and no cloud sync. If you use the save code feature, the app creates a code containing your game progress (not your health data) that you can share yourself — for example, to move your game to another device. We don't receive that code unless you send it to us.
To understand how the app is used and to fix problems, we use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. These collect anonymous usage events (for example, that a screen was opened) and, when the app crashes, technical diagnostics such as your device model, operating system version, app configuration, and an IP-derived region. Your health data is never included in analytics or crash reports, and none of this information is used to identify you personally.
The app may show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to show and measure ads, but only if you allow tracking when iOS asks; otherwise ads are not personalised. Your health data is never shared with advertisers or used to choose ads. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings. Learn more about how Google processes personal information on Google's Business Data Responsibility Site.
Any optional in-app purchases are handled by the App Store — the app never sees or stores your card or payment details. We only receive confirmation of a purchase so we can unlock what you bought.
We only ask for what the app needs: read access to Apple Health (to collect game points), notifications (for the optional evening nudge), and network access (for ads and analytics). The app does not use your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photo library.
You can turn on an optional evening nudge. It is scheduled and shown entirely on your device — we don't send push notifications from our servers. You can turn it off at any time in the app or your device settings.
Game data is stored in the app's private storage, and Apple Health data is protected by iOS. Analytics and ad traffic is sent over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information.
Health Incremental is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
The app relies on these services, each with its own privacy policy:
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the revised version here and update the effective date above.
